Teresita Bellido, PhD, is Professor and Chair of the Department of Physiology and Cell Biology, and Professor of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, and Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences; and Career Investigator at the Veteran Administration HealthCare of Central Arkansas, United States of America. Dr. Bellido's laboratory investigates the effects of systemic hormones on the musculoskeletal system and osteocyte pathophysiology.
