Welcome to the 26th Vitamin D Workshop!

The 2025 Vitamin D Workshop will be chaired by Drs. John White (McGill University), Carlos Bernal-Mizrachi (Washington University) and Carmen Reynolds (Mayo Clinic).  The conference will kick off with a Welcome Reception on Tuesday June 24 where you can pick up conference materials and connect with colleagues over food and drink. Scientific sessions will begin on the morning of Wednesday June 25 in the New Residence Hall adjacent to the McGill campus in downtown Montreal. Sessions will conclude at noon on Friday June 27. New this year will be free activities specifically targeted to junior scientists including an Early Career Investigator Lunch & Learn Session and a Networking Social. 

An optional Networking Event at the famed Cirque du Soleil has been organized for Wednesday evening June 25. We will arrange transportation to/from the Old Port of Montreal for a VIP Experience including tickets to the Cirque du Soleil show Luzia. In the VIP tent we will enjoy open bar, food stations and hors d'oeuvres prior to the show and during intermission. If you haven’t yet experienced a Cirque du Soleil show, now is the time! Tickets are $50 and must be pre-purchased on this website by May 25, 2025.

The scientific sessions will include Keynote lectures, 20+ invited speakers, promoted short communications, plenary posters and general poster sessions over 2.5 days. Abstract submissions on all aspects of vitamin D biology are welcome.  Abstracts will be ranked and considered for promotion to short talks.  While the program details are still being finalized, the invited speakers will cover the spectrum from basic research and translational studies to clinical impact and public health aspects.


The conference venue, New Residence Hall (3625 Park Ave, Montreal) is adjacent to the downtown McGill Campus.  The location has a connected parking garage and easy access to public transportation. Negotiated accommodation rates will be available at nearby hotels and on-campus housing will also be available.  

Registration Fees and Deadlines

Registration includes entry to all scientific sessions, welcome reception on the evening of June 24th, lunch and coffee breaks, access to conference website (program, abstracts, agenda builder, list of attendees). Tickets for the optional VIP Experience Networking event at the Cirque du Soleil on June 25 must be purchased by May 25, 2025.

Networking Event at Cirque du Soleil (optional): $50 (must purchase by May 25). 

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
