June 30-July 3, 2026 | Strasbourg, France

Welcome to the 27th Vitamin D Workshop!

The 2026 Vitamin D Workshop will be chaired by Dr. Gilles Laverny (IGBMC, Strasbourg, France) with assistance from co-chairs Prof. Justine Bacchetta (CHU de Lyon, France), Dr. Martin Hewison (University of Birmingham, UK) and Dr. Daniela Rovito (IGBMC, France).  The scientific sessions will include Keynote lectures, 15+ invited speakers, promoted short communications, plenary posters and general poster sessions over 2.5 days. Abstract submissions on all aspects of vitamin D biology are welcome.  Abstracts submitted by April 1, 2026 will be ranked and considered for awards and/or promotion to short talks.  While the program details are still being finalized, the invited speakers will cover the spectrum from basic research and translational studies to clinical impact and public health aspects.

The conference will kick off with a Welcome Reception from 5-7PM on the evening of Tuesday June 30 at L’Ancienne Douane - The Old Customs House (https://www.anciennedouane.fr/). Here you can pick up conference materials and connect with colleagues over food and drink. The historic Customs House – built in 1358 - is in the center of Strasbourg, a short walk from the headquarters hotel (Hotel Beaucour).  View the Google Maps link here https://maps.app.goo.gl/HpS377hV6S6xQy1d9.

The conference venue IRCAD is approximately 10 mins walk from the Hotel Beaucour where the invited speakers will be housed.   Scientific sessions will conclude at noon on Friday July 3.
